The installation of Reinforced Bitumen Membranes has been at the heart of Alsager Roofing since trading began over 30 years ago. Benefiting from multi layer waterproof protection, built up felt systems have been adapted over the years comprising of newly evolved polymeric properties that allow stability in warmer temperatures and low temperature flexibility. Typically, Reinforced Bitumen Membranes incorporate two or three layers, offering a long-lasting and unrivaled waterproof protection system.

Application

Built up felt systems also offer flexibility when it comes to installation, offering both hot and cold applied systems. Hot systems typically involve the use professional torches that melt the bitumen on the back of the membrane which is then fully bonded to the substrate.
